In the Old Testament we can find a moving story about a great woman of faith. Hannah’s life was full of disappointment and sorrow. She went through years of being unable to bear a child while her husband’s other wife gave birth time and time again.
Through disappointments, misunderstandings, and fervent prayer, we can learn a lot about dealing with trials in our lives today. Hannah learned how to give God all of her problems, as well as all of her gifts. As we grow in our relationship with God, we have to relinquish the control that we have and give it over to God.
